 Food

me & LisaBesides riding, talking about riding and looking at bikes -- the other thing to do at Bike Week is drink and eat.

I'd have to say that in general, the people in Florida were pretty hospitable and the service was Lisa with her flair good for the most part. Sweet with Lisa

Lisa, our server from TGIFriday's was damn tolerable of our comments, the guys hitting on her and the general drunkenness.

Chains

homonyI think we hit every major food chain in Florida while we were down thScotty Tissueere... the food was pretty much mediocre, but you drink enough and it works out.   No trip South would be complete without at least one visit to the Cracker Barrel.    I even talked Scott & Dom into eating grits.  Everyone got annoyed at my picture-taking -- so I quit bringing the camera around for non-bike things... besides after the bike theft, the boys were pretty grumpy.

Drinking

beerThe bars close early in Florida... but you can still stop by 7-11 and buy beer. Go figure.

As far as clubs go, there were pretty much only two places to go if you didn't ride a Harley, luckily, they're right across the street from each other.  600 North was good because they had a better selection of vodka and the DJ wasn't horrible.    It was nice to have the guys out numbering the girls for a change.  In Manhattan there are far too many girls in the clubs -- I read somewhere it's 7:1 ratio -- it was definitely nice to have the tables turned.
