Well, just as I was rounding up a nice group of girls to ride with on the East Coast - I switched gears and moved to the West Coast.  It's pretty much the same from what I see so far... I continue to hear vague rumors of women on sport bikes and I'll catch a glimpse of another female rider here and there... But I haven't met any yet... so if you're out in sunny southern California - send me a shout out and show me your favorite roads!   Although I support all women on two wheels (and especially those on one) - and it's great if you're on a cruiser or a two-stroke or a dirtbike -- I'm looking for girls addicted to speed or twisties -- the ones interested in pushing their limits... if you're out there - give me a holler.

Girls on Bikes.... the good stuff

In the meantime, this page is here to promote girls on SPORT BIKES.  There are plenty of women out there on Harleys, but not enough of us on the fast stuff.  A few years ago when I started riding, I searched the Internet for other female motorcycle enthusiasts.   Sadly the only stuff I found was either about how motorcycles are better than women (ha ha) and lots of pictures of scantily clad females sprawled across the bike.  And while this is all fine and good - it wasn't really what I was looking for...  So I created this page.  

I'm not big on chics, they generally drive me nuts, but I always encourage women to ride.  Since creating this site I've certainly met/emailed a lot of female bikers.  I'm happy to answer any questions you have about getting started riding and point you in the right direction to getting your first bike. I've accumulated a few links of other women riders and put them on a page.  If you know of other female motorcycle pages, please tell me and I'll add the link. Also, if you're female in the NYC area, email me - let's RIDE.
